After being promoted to the position of Managing Director for RareWorks Theatre Company, one of Emerson College’s student theatre organizations, I decided to take on the position of producer on Hookman, the RareWorks Fall semester production for 2023. It was a new experience for me as I had never produced before but I am very proud of what I learned and accomplished in this role. My responsibilities included organizing and hosting production meetings, taking notes at production meetings, collecting and organizing purchase requests and keeping track of the budget, creating the program, and supporting designers and technicians at tech.

Synopsis: Hookman follows a college freshman, Lexi, who struggles with the death of her best friend while also processing the trauma of sexual assault.
