Starting in May of 2022, I worked seasonally as a server at the American Girl Store restaurant, American Girl Bistro. In this position, I had to take orders, put in orders, prep appetizers, serve food and appetizers, bus tables, clean the service station, and most importantly, provide the expected American Girl signature experience for the kids I serve. I also worked a few private birthday parties in our party room where I had to serve the group a meal as well as engage with the child and work them through a fun craft activity with their doll!
