I have worked at Wolf Trap for 2 summers as a technician and Youth Conservation Corps Member.
The first year, I interned for the summer as a sound tech for the outdoor children’s theatre in the woods performances which occured Mon-Sat for about 8 weeks in the summer. My responsibilities included opening the theatre, setting up the artist(s) equipment, helping program the sound board, assisting with sound check, and setting up monitors.
My second year, I did the same jobs as the year before except I had a paid position with the National Park as a Youth Conservation Corps member. This added to my responsibilities, including helping with ticket sales, parking and merchandise sales as well as welcoming guests to the theatre.
