Maine State Music Theatre (Summer 2026)

Assistant Stage Manager

Pickard Theater, Brunswick, ME

After working my first year as a freelancer in NYC, I was granted the pleasure of spending a summer in Brunswick, Maine at Maine State Music Theatre. This opportunity came at the perfect time, as I wanted to spend more time with my other true love, musical theatre (see you soon Dallas Opera!).

I was able to work full-time with two productions (Hairspray and Frozen) as an ASM in rehearsal and performance, responsible for creating and maintaining the props paperwork and rehearsal run sheet and running stage left once we reached the Pickard Theater. For the two other productions (1776 and Come From Away), I served as an ASM in rehearsal while not in performance for my primary productions and created the costume paperwork. I ran a track in performance on Come From Away to close out the summer!

I owe so much to my stellar SM Team: Mark Johnson, Adam P. Blais, Amy Bertacini, Liz Patton, Kathryn Kulaga, and Frankie Mastras! A fantastic department of seven.
